Say “I Do to Your Boo” this October!

Come say “I do” to your Boo this Halloween! The Orange County Clerk of Courts will host Hallowedding themed wedding ceremonies October 19–30 at the Orange County Courthouse in Downtown Orlando from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Couples and their guests are encouraged to wear costumes for the festive occasion. Costumes must adhere to courthouse security regulations with masks or face painting applied just prior to the ceremony and removed immediately following. Masks are not allowed to be worn while walking through the courthouse building.

No costume accessories that are considered weapons are allowed, including plastic items such as plastic swords or handcuffs. Additionally, costumes must be publicly appropriate and cannot be revealing or otherwise sexually explicit.

Appointments and walk-ins are available. Appointment availability is limited, so couples interested in an appointment are encouraged to register early to reserve one. The marriage license and the ceremony require separate fees.

Please note that marriage licenses are valid for only 60 days. Therefore, they must ensure that their marriage licenses are still effective on the day of the ceremony for their marriage to be valid.

Prefer a more traditional ceremony? All other Orange County Clerk locations will continue to offer traditional wedding ceremonies throughout the month.
