Orange County Clerk of Court Expands Hours
Branch Locations in Apopka, Ocoee and Winter Park Open Longer on Weekdays
Orlando, FL---- Orange County Clerk of Courts Lydia Gardner today announced that branch locations in Apopka, Ocoee and Winter Park will be open extended hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Now, customers can stop by before or after work to take care of court business,” Gardner said. “This decision is driven by our ongoing effort to provide exemplary customer service.”
A pilot study, which began last year in Winter Park, tested expanded weekday hours and Saturday hours. The study revealed that while the extended hours were highly utilized, customer traffic on Saturdays was very light. Beginning immediately, the Winter Park location will suspend its Saturday hours.
Branch locations provide a full range of services, handling traffic cases, civil cases, passports, marriage licenses and marriage ceremonies.
