Juror Information

Lydia GardnerAs Orange County Clerk of Courts, I'm pleased to welcome all those who serve their community as a juror. Jury service is both an honor and privilege.

My office has a number of roles regarding jurors and the trial process.

We compensate those jurors not paid by their employers, and also pay for food and lodging if necessary.

If you are called as part of a jury pool, you will see our trial clerks assisting judges in the courtroom, maintaining the court file and swearing in witnesses. Much like judges wear a robe and the Sheriff's deputies a uniform, our trial clerks wear a black jacket with the Clerk's seal for easy identification.

We also have responsibility for storing, maintaining and transporting evidence.

Thank you to those who will serve. Your work is important and I applaud the thoughtfulness you will surely bring to the task.

If you are a person with a disability who needs special accommodation, please contact Court Administration's ADA Coordinator at (407) 836-2303.
