Orlando's 1440 AM Talk Radio
Winter Park and Goldenrod Branch Manager Carmen Velazquez (right) is always looking for new ways to reach out to the Hispanic community in Orange County. For the past two years Carmen has been a weekly guest on Las Mañanitas de Lucymar, a radio talk show on Orlando's 1440 AM.
On the air, Carmen answers questions about court processes and how legislative changes affect the Clerk. According to Carmen, the radio program really keeps her on her toes.
"I usually bring a main topic to discuss," she says. "But I have to be flexible because my plan can change with the early morning news or the calls from the listeners."
