Clerks Support Mental Health Association of Central Florida

Members of the Clerk's Office attended the recent Mental Health Association of Central Florida's Legacy of Champion's luncheon. The event highlighted current and past legacy winners and focused on the need for greater awareness of mental health issues in the community.

Former U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy, the son of the late Senator Ted Kennedy, was the keynote speaker and delivered a passionate speech about the need to remove the stigma from mental health treatment, especially with soldiers returning from battle.

Our own Lydia Gardner was recognized as a past recipient of the Legacy Award.
