SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR ECF

Recommended for Optimal Performance

  • PC running Windows XP/2000/98/95 with a Pentium III or higher processor
  • Macintosh computer (G3, G4, G5) running OSC (10.1) or System 9.2 (Classic)
  • Minimum 40 MB of available hard disk space
  • DSL, Cable Modem or T1 internet connection
  • Scanner (10 pages per minute (ppm) or higher
  • Adobe Acrobat Writer for creating PDF documents

Required Hardware & Software for Electronically Filing Documents

  • PC with a Pentium Processor – at least 100MHz or Apple Macintosh
  • An internet connection with a modem supporting a transfer rate of 56k
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox
  • A PDF compatible word processor such as Macintosh or Windows based versions of WordPerfect and Microsoft Word
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher [available free over the Internet]

Other Requirements

  • Login and Password – available through the Clerk’s Office
  • To view documents remotely, must be counsel of record in the case.
  • All ECF case files are available for review at the Clerk’s Office by anyone.
