1. Double-click My Computer

2. Click on Tools on the menu bar

3. Select Folder Options

4. Select the tab labeled File Types

5. Click on the column labeled Extensions.  [This will place the listings in alphabetical order.]

6. Scroll down to located the file extension TIFF and highlight it.

7. Select the Change button in the OPENS WITH section.

8. Highlight the desired application you wish your document/image to open with ( Microsoft Document Imaging is typically used but PDF will also work).

9. Select Ok.

10. Select Apply and Close.
